A Look Back: Our 8th Annual Responsible AI Symposium

On June 27th, we gathered at Loyola Marymount University's Playa Vista Campus for our 8th Annual Responsible AI Symposium, focused on The Future of Work.

Our first panel, "The New Org Chart: AI as Colleague, Oversight as Culture," brought together leaders from PwC, Morrison & Foerster, and IV.AI to discuss redesigning team structures around AI integration. The conversation focused on integrating ethical oversight with organizational culture and moving to make responsibility core to how companies operate.

"Rethinking Talent in the Age of AI" featured experts from Google, SAP, Tala, and Akido Labs addressing practical workforce issues: how to hire, train, and structure teams when AI capabilities are rapidly evolving.

The networking session that followed the talks generated strong engagement across industries—from community members in healthcare AI to entertainment innovators and academic researchers. The real value of these events is being in the room where experts are shaping the future of our industry. Thank you to everyone who attended. Events like this advance our mission to be LA's most influential AI community by connecting innovation with responsibility as AI reshapes how we work.
