AI LA Supports Students with Free AI Education

AI LA’s IDEAS Program has transformed opportunities for underrepresented and first-generation college students throughout Los Angeles. In just two years, we’ve supported 6 cohorts and 89 alumni from more than 10 community colleges, giving them hands-on AI training, project-based learning, and mentorship that helps them enter the tech workforce with confidence.

Why We’re Fundraising Now

A long-time institutional partner shifted its giving priorities after the passing of its benefactor, leaving a critical funding gap. To continue and grow IDEAS, we’re turning to our community.

Our Goal: $50,000

With $50K, we can:

• Fund 6 more cohorts over the next two years

• Double enrollment to serve 30 students per cohort

• Expand mentorship, workshops, and career support

• Provide first-in-family students a direct pathway into AI and emerging tech
