It's Official! Women in STEAM Announcement

Hey friend! The AI LA Community is now an official 501©(3) non-profit here to serve the S.T.E.A.M. community of the Greater Los Angeles region.

This wouldn’t have been possible without an amazing board of directors and the diligent attorneys at Tucker Ellis, LLP who walked us through the entire process.

Our mission is ambitious, but practical: accelerate innovation for social good through education, conversation, and collaboration.

AI LA’s Three Pillars focus on:

AI For Everyone: Provide a platform for civic education to train the next generation on how to properly interface with smart and autonomous machines and inform how technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) impact our lives, society, and industries.

Sustainable Community: Create an ideal ecosystem for nurturing a diverse workforce, so we retain local talent and attract the best talent in the world to come live, work, and play in Los Angeles.

Think Tank: Organize a group of experts from different disciplines to engage in problem finding to encourage innovation and mitigate biases by strategically using data, expertise, and collaboration.

Come out to our casual Community Happy Hour on February 11th in Hollywood to meet other like-minded innovators.

Grab your tickets for our upcoming AI in Production tech talk at Emerson College LA on February 20th.

We are excited to be partnering with Women in STEAM to produce a special event on International Women’s day to celebrate visionary women across science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.

All ticket proceeds benefit WomenofAI.Org, a global non-profit creating women leaders of AI.

The location is a private residence in Beverly Hills.

We have limited space, so please reserve your spot now!

Please reply back if you’d like to help volunteer or sponsor our mission!
