Workshop Recap: A New Way to Work with AI

Led by Jason Baer, Principal AI PM at Adobe

Most of us have a few tasks we’d happily take off our plates. On Saturday, our community joined Jason Baer, Principal AI PM at Adobe, to explore how AI could help, and to try building a few solutions of their own.

Using Claude as the primary tool, Jason walked attendees through ways to make everyday work easier, from connecting email, calendars, and Slack to turning repetitive tasks into automations. He also discussed differences between ChatGPT and Claude, giving participants context for how they might approach their work with each.

From there, ideas started taking shape. Attendees explored how to turn documents into apps and visualizations, build reusable workflows, and streamline regular reports and recaps. The focus was on useful, approachable projects they could bring into their workday, with no coding experience needed.

During breakout sessions, participants had time to experiment with Jason’s support. He worked with attendees individually, helping them get their workflows started and work through questions and challenges along the way.

Thank you to Jason for sharing his time and expertise, and to everyone who joined us with curiosity and a willingness to experiment!
