Recap: AI LA Cerebral Beach Launch Party

Last Friday, July 5th, we hosted our Cerebral Beach Launch Party in the Jungle at Playa Del Rey. Thank you to everyone who came out and the 44+ people who played in the tournament– it was an amazing event full of energy, music, and community spirit!

For those of you who may not have heard yet: Cerebral Beach is AI LA’s newest initiative, aimed at uniting the greater LA and SoCal tech ecosystem through a series of active lifestyle events. Every month, we’ll be hosting events that blend physical activity with intellectual engagement, fostering a vibrant community where tech and wellness intersect. Next up: Monday’s Bowling and Bites 🎳

Video Recap: AI LA x Medtech x Digital Health Mastermind

Our AI x Medtech x Digital Health Mastermind event in May 2024 was a resounding success!

In collaboration with Medical Innovation Exchange, we facilitated engaging discussions among participants, led by our fantastic moderator and investor, Min-Yi Shih. The event started with a compelling presentation by Prof. Dr. Tobias Schimmer and Anil Babu Ankisettipalli on the current state of AI.

Are you passionate about artificial intelligence and its impact on society?

Come and explore the rapidly evolving field of Responsible AI with other fellow AI LA community members in the Los Angeles area. The reading group aims to keep members informed of the latest research papers, in-depth articles, and significant news items surrounding the ethical development and deployment of AI technologies.

What We Do:
The group offers a forum for regular thought-provoking discussions, both IRL and virtually, along with real-time dialogue on Discord. We provide regular email updates to keep all members informed and engaged. Members collectively explore AI ethics to foster an understanding supporting responsible AI technology practices.

Who Should Join:
The reading group is open to anyone interested in the ethical aspects of AI, including academics, industry professionals, students, and anyone curious about the technology’s broader implications.
